The Island Gallery
cleva rose

De Ann Owen, who designs jewelry under the name of her design company Cleva Rose, has created one-of-a-kind, collectable, wearable works of art over the last decade. Educated at the University of Oregon, De Ann studied a wide variety of visual arts before focusing on jewelry design, finding that it incorporates many aspects of art that she enjoys, including architecture, interior and industrial design, metal smithing and sculpture.

Cleva Rose designs are created with a strong organic feeling, utilizing a wide variety of techniques such as Kumihimo weaving that incorporates gemstones, pearls, silk and leather. Many of the designs include stunning and delicate metalwork such as wire wrapped gemstones hanging from a strand of knotted pearls.

Cleva Rose designs have been shown in Washington, California, New York, Oregon and Arizona to enthusiastic response in a wide variety of venues. De Annís passion for searching out and incorporating new mediums into her designs keeps her work constantly evolving, always fresh, yet with a timeless beauty.
