[1]  Flat Rate:   $17.00 per order will be charged at checkout.

[2]  Free Shipping:  After the change date, free shipping is offered on many items listed for sale at under $100.00.  Excluded are all glass, ceramic, extremely fragile and special order/custom items, unless otherwise stated in the listing, at the discretion of the Gallery and its officers. Applies to US 48 contiguous states only; for shipping estimates for all other destinations contact the Gallery.

[3]  Primary Carrier: USPS (Priority mail when possible). Contact the Gallery if you prefer an alternate carrier.  Please Note:  Because of 2020 USPS changes we cannot guarantee delivery times of either standard or Priority shipping items at this time.

[4]  Exceptions:

     1)  Excess Shipping Costs (Large, Heavy, Fragile or other items where additional shipping fees may be required):  Certain items may require extra shipping/insurance fees beyond the Gallery's standard flat rate shipping fee (i.e., standard flat rate fee plus additional costs). Any overages in excess of the flat rate fee will be billed to the purchaser directly via separate PayPal statement. To obtain cost estimates or submit queries regarding these items, prior to or after purchase, please contact the Gallery at

     2)  Multiple item purchases, where actual shipping cost exceeds flat rate: you will receive an invoice via PayPal for additional charges prior to shipping -OR- contact the Gallery prior to purchase for estimate/information, as above in [3] 1).

     3)  Free Shipping:  When an Item qualifies for free shipping it will be indicated in the individual listing.

     4)  Call for Freight:   We are phasing out use of Call for Freight in shop listings.  Please contact the Gallery with any questions.

[5]  Payment Options: The Island Gallery online shop accepts payments via PayPal.  For other options, or to order by phone, please contact the Gallery.  International orders: please contact the Gallery to discuss payment.

[6]  Packing, Handling & Insurance:  The Island Gallery takes extra special care in shipping all of its pieces. All items are shipped either via USPS or UPS, fully insured. Fragile or extra-fragile pack will be used when the item requires special attention. All weights shown reflect actual weight of the item plus packing materials. All packing, handling and insurance costs are included in the shipping fee. As a general rule, ceramics and paintings require extra-fragile pack; baskets, bowls and boxes require fragile pack; and clothing and jewelry require standard pack.

[7]  Ships Within Dates: Most items will be shipped from the Gallery within 1-7 business days from date of receipt of funds. Ship dates on Made-To-Order purchases, custom or special orders may vary; for further information, see individual product descriptions, or contact the Gallery.

[8]  Ships To:  At this time, The Island Gallery online shop sells and ships only within the contiguous 48 United States. International/HI/AK and US Territories orders: Please contact the Gallery directly (via phone or email) to make purchase/shipping arrangements.

[9]  Taxes: Sales tax is added to orders shipped within Washington State.

[10]  Carrier:  All items (possibly excluding large furniture, sculpture or paintings) are shipped via USPS or UPS on their regular schedules. Please contact the Gallery to arrange expedited shipping and further information.

[11]  Large Items: The Gallery will work with customers on securing proper crating and freight methods for large items. (Please Note:  All large furniture sales are final.)

We are happy to be able to ship wooden furniture, slabs and other oversized items anywhere in the United States at very reasonable rates through Plycon Movers. Simply contact the Gallery and we will provide a specific quote for your shipping destination within 24-48 hours.

[12]  Returns: The Island Gallery will accept returns on qualifying items when the Gallery is, within 7 days of customer's receipt of merchandise, (a) notified of intention to return, or (b) items are physically received back in the Gallery. Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. Item(s) must be accompanied by receipt (computer generated or packing invoice sent with purchase). Item(s) returned must be in same condition as shipped.

Exception:  All large furniture sales are final.

[13]  Free Delivery:  As of this date complimentary free delivery is offered to our customers on Bainbridge Island, Washington State.  Please contact the Gallery here to inquire.
