This design is inspired by the painting "The Dancer Josefa Vargas" by Antonio Maria Esquivel y Suarez de Urbina, 1850. It was created exclusively on the occasion of the Balenciaga and Spanish Painting exhibition that took place at Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum, Madrid. The colors and shapes show a scene full of harmony and delicacy, which in turn inspired Cristobal Balenciaga to make one of his creations.
