This tea bowl displays beautiful colors and markings due to the slow firing method, taking up to 15 days. Pots are placed into the kiln unglazed and come out with a natural ash glaze (shizen-yu). The slow build-up of ash creates serendipitous patterns on the surface. This special tea bowl is the last remaining piece we have from Kanzaki, an internationally revered Master ceramacist who died in 2018.
